DJI has officially launched a portable UAV named Mavic Pro, it not only small and portable, but also very smart. The DJI Mavic Pro is a small yet powerful drone that turns the sky into your creative canvas easily and without worry, helping you make every moment an aerial moment.
Its compact size hides a high degree of complexity that makes it one of DJI’s most sophisticated flying cameras ever. 24 high-performance computing cores, an all-new trans mission system with a 4.3mi (7km) range, 5 vision sensors, and a 4K camera stabilized by a 3-axis mechanical gimbal, are at your command with just a push of your thumb or a tap of your finger.
Mavic uses folding design, 4 arms close to the body in the folded State. Folded: H83mm x W83mm x L198mm. 743g. Users can take it in the bag.
Mavic Pro use the Flight Autonomy system, Flight Autonomy gives the Mavic the intelligence to avoid obstacles and hover precisely. It includes 5 cameras,GPS & GLONASS, 2 ultrasonic range finders, redundant sensors, and 24 powerful computing cores.
The camera uses the same sensor as the Phantom 4, shooting 4K video at 30 fps and full 1080p HD at 96 fps. It has a 12-megapixel camera with support for Adobe DNG RAW. The field of view is a little smaller, shrinking from 94 degrees down to 78. You also don’t lose much in terms of flight performance: the Mavic Pro claims to offer 27 minutes of battery life on a single charge and has a top speed of 40 miles per hour — just shy of the 45 mph you get on the much larger, more powerful Phantom 4.
In addition, Mavic also used a VR helmet–DJI Goggle.DJI Goggles:Two 1920 X 1080 screens. Up to 1080p image transmission, it can hook up Mavic through OCuSync, providing a immersion flight experience. However, Mavic use the 3s Lipo battery, but the 27-minute best flight time is too short, that’s a big pity.
